This walkthrough uses Pouncer's demo data. 'Your Realty' and the buyer are not real customers. It follows one portal lead to a broker team whose agents are all busy, step by step, from the moment it arrives at 7:41 pm to a site visit booked for Saturday. Timestamps count from the moment the lead reaches Pouncer.
The set-up: a shared lead and a team with its hands full
Your Realty is the demo name for a small team of brokers working Sarjapur Road. The team pays for portal leads, and a buyer who enquires on its listing may well have enquired on other brokers' listings too. At 7:41 pm on a weekday, one agent is finishing a site visit, one is driving, and the owner is with a client. Why the first hour matters for this kind of lead is covered in how fast should you reply to a 99acres or MagicBricks lead?
Step by step: from enquiry to a booked visit while nobody is free
00:00 (7:41 pm): Lead arrives. A buyer, Ramesh K., enquires on 99acres about a 2BHK on Sarjapur Rd. The lead is forwarded to Pouncer as it reaches the team.
00:03: WhatsApp reply in Kannada. The buyer gets a WhatsApp message from Your Realty's business account, thanking them for asking about the 2BHK on Sarjapur Road and saying a call is coming within a minute. The buyer now knows this team has the enquiry.
00:41: Pouncer calls the buyer. The assistant says it is an automated assistant calling for Your Realty, refers to the 99acres enquiry, and asks whether the buyer would like to talk in Kannada. The buyer agrees.
During the call: qualification. The assistant asks about budget, location, BHK and timeline. The buyer's budget is ₹85L–1Cr and they want a home ready in 3 months. The assistant offers Saturday at 11 am for a site visit, and the buyer accepts. The call takes 2 minutes 24 seconds.
03:10: Summary on the team's WhatsApp. The team gets one screen: Hot, 2BHK, Sarjapur Rd, ₹85L–1Cr, ready in 3 months, site visit Sat 11am. It also shows the language (Kannada), the source (99acres), the buyer's masked number and the call recording. In the demo's broker view, this lead sits at the top of a list of four, marked Hot, above Warm and New leads from Meta ads, a missed call and MagicBricks.
03:12: Site visit booked, Sat 11am. The visit goes into the team's calendar.
What the team does with the lead
The brokers take it from here, and they decide who does what. In this demo, the team reads the summary and picks who takes the Saturday visit.
- Prioritise. The Hot label, budget and timeline tell the team which lead to call first when someone is free.
- Prepare. Whoever takes the visit has the buyer's answers and the recording, so the buyer does not repeat themselves.
- Hand over on request. In another demo scenario, a buyer from Housing.com asks for a person during the call. The chat moves to the team's WhatsApp straight away, with everything said so far.
Calls happen between 8am to 9pm. Later leads get the WhatsApp reply at once and a call first thing the next morning.
What this demo does not show
This page uses demo data to show how the product is designed to work. It is not a customer result; Pouncer has none to publish yet. In real use, some buyers do not answer, some want a person immediately, and call lengths vary.
What to ask on the first call is in which questions qualify an Indian home buyer on the first call?. Whether faster replies change what your portal leads really cost is in is a 99acres leads package worth it?. The broker teams page has the price and the free 14-day pilot.
