Pouncer for broker teams: be the first to call back on every shared portal lead
For Bengaluru broker teams on 99acres, MagicBricks and Housing.com: an AI assistant that answers each lead within a minute and books the site visit.

What happens to your leads today
Portal leads arrive while your agents are on site visits, driving or with clients, and the buyer may well have enquired with other brokers too. The first broker to reply has the best chance of getting the conversation. Nobody has published how fast Bengaluru brokers reply, so the evidence below is from abroad and labelled as such; the Bengaluru property enquiry response study is measuring it locally.
- You are often not the only broker on the lead. One Indian marketing agency puts portal leads at ₹300–1,200 each and notes they are shared between advertisers (vendor figures, 2026)1.
- Slow replies are common. In a 2024 US secret-shopper test of 100 enquiries, 47% got no response at all, and the median reply took 39 minutes (US, 2024)2.
- The first hour matters. US firms that contacted a lead within an hour were about 7 times as likely to qualify it as firms that waited longer, and more than 60 times as likely as firms that waited a day or more (US data, 2011)3.
- Some portal plans bill per lead. 99acres's owner told investors in May 2026 that a small part of the 99acres business charges per lead delivered, with refunds for unsatisfactory leads4. On any paid plan, a lead you do not answer is one you paid for.
The arithmetic of what this does to your real cost per site visit is in is a 99acres leads package worth it?

Questions
Portal leads are mostly junk. Why answer them faster?
Because you only find out which ones are real by talking to them. A short call that asks budget, location, BHK and timeline sorts the serious buyers from the browsers before another broker reaches them, and you only spend site visits on the serious ones.
Will an AI own my client relationships?
No. Pouncer calls on your behalf, says it is an automated assistant calling for you, and sends every lead's summary to your WhatsApp. You own the leads and the buyer data. A buyer who asks for a person is handed straight to you.
What if it gets details wrong?
Every call is recorded and summarised, so you can check what was said. Tell us on WhatsApp and we correct it.
Which lead sources does it work with?
99acres, MagicBricks, Housing.com, Meta lead ads, your website form and missed calls.
