This walkthrough uses Pouncer's demo data. 'Your Realty' and the buyer are not real customers. It follows one enquiry to a builder's sales team, step by step, from the moment it arrives at 7:41 pm on a weekday to a site visit booked for Saturday. Timestamps count from the moment the lead reaches Pouncer.
The set-up: an evening enquiry after the sales desk has gone home
Your Realty is the demo name for a builder's sales team selling 2BHK homes on Sarjapur Road. Its leads come from 99acres, MagicBricks, Housing.com, Meta ads and its website. Its sales desk works in the day, and enquiries that arrive in the evening would normally wait until the next morning. Why that wait matters is covered in what happens to property enquiries after 7 pm and on Sundays?
Step by step: from enquiry to booked visit in just over 3 minutes
00:00 (7:41 pm): Lead arrives. A buyer, Ramesh K., enquires on 99acres about a 2BHK on Sarjapur Rd. The enquiry is forwarded to Pouncer the moment it reaches the builder.
00:03: WhatsApp reply in Kannada. The buyer receives a WhatsApp message from Your Realty's business account. It thanks them for asking about the 2BHK on Sarjapur Road and says a call is coming within a minute.
00:41: Pouncer calls the buyer. The assistant introduces itself as an automated assistant calling for Your Realty. It confirms the 99acres enquiry about the 2BHK on Sarjapur Road and asks whether the buyer would like to continue in Kannada. The buyer says yes.
During the call: qualification. The assistant asks the four questions that matter: budget, location, BHK and timeline. The buyer gives a budget of ₹85L–1Cr and wants a home ready in 3 months. The assistant offers a site visit on Saturday at 11 am, and the buyer accepts. The call lasts 2 minutes 24 seconds.
03:10: Summary on the sales team's WhatsApp. The team receives a one-screen summary: Hot, 2BHK, Sarjapur Rd, ₹85L–1Cr, ready in 3 months, site visit Sat 11am. It also shows the language (Kannada), the source (99acres), the buyer's masked phone number and the call recording.
03:12: Site visit booked, Sat 11am. The visit is added to the team's calendar. In the demo's visit-booking scenario, the buyer also gets a location pin and a reminder on WhatsApp.
What the sales team does next
The people take over from here. Pouncer handles the first few minutes; the builder's team runs the visit and the sale.
- Before the visit: a salesperson reads the summary, listens to the recording if needed, and prepares units that fit a ₹85L–1Cr budget and a 3-month move.
- If the buyer asks for a person at any point: the conversation moves to the team's WhatsApp straight away, with everything said so far.
- If the buyer says stop: they are never contacted again.
Calls happen between 8am to 9pm. An enquiry that arrives later gets the WhatsApp reply immediately and a call first thing the next morning.
What this demo does not show
This page shows how the product is designed to work, using demo data. It does not show results from a customer, because Pouncer has none to publish yet. Real calls vary in length, some buyers do not pick up, and some want to talk to a person straight away.
The questions the assistant asks are explained in which questions qualify an Indian home buyer on the first call?. How AI callers compare on cost and limits is in AI calling agents for real estate in India. The builders page has pricing, including custom pricing for high-volume builders, and the free 14-day pilot.
